Have you ever been in a pub and heard people doing what they might describe as “putting the world to rights”?
Or maybe you’ve met up with a friend and described your conversation in the same way.
Let’s be honest………
“Putting the world to rights”………
Is moaning about other people’s behaviour.
And I get that
Other people’s behaviour can be frustrating.
When people don’t act in line with the way we think and feel they should do………
We don’t like that.
Understandable.
But……….
How much difference does that “putting the world to rights”……….
Make to those behaviors?
None I would wager.
There’s only one world we can put to rights.
Our own.
All we can have control over is what we do and how we interpret and respond to the actions and behaviours of others.
And, somewhat ironically, other people’s action are behaviours are more likely to change………
When we stop trying to change them……….
And just make ourselves the best version of ourselves that we can.
The work we can do on us produces disproportionate results (and this is something we help with rather than just giving you the same workout and meal plan you’ve had before and have been able to get for free on the internet for two decades –> www.myrise.co.uk/apply) .
Challenging and changing the way we see things, our beliefs, and how we approach life……….
Is the difference maker in how we experience it.
Much love,
Jon ‘Challenger and challenging’ Hall
