Motivation.
The thing that is most often mentioned as a reason for struggling with losing weight, getting fit, etc.
When I speak to people who are asking about what we do and I ask……….
“What would you say is your biggest struggle in doing that by yourself?”………..
Motivation (or a lack thereof) gets mentioned at least 80% of the time.
Which we get.
When you do what we do, people assume you have endless motivation springing from a tap.
“I’m not as motivated as you” I’ve heard countless times.
Or “Don’t you ever not feel like it?”
The reality is two things.
Firstly I, and all those that have joined us and gone on to make life changing transformations, have realised is that the results are correlated to actions not motivation.
If you do the thing unmotivated, it’s just as effective as doing it motivated.
The body responds to the exercise and what we put in our mouths, not how we feel about doing that.
Motivation is a nice to have, at best.
And, secondly………….
And, arguably, more importantly…………
We’ve realised that………….
Motivation is an “after emotion”.
If it’s going to come, it’ll come from the the doing.
If we sit at home waiting to feel motivated to do something……….
We’ll be waiting for a very long time.
If we do it unmotivated………..
There’s a pretty good chance motivation to do it will grow.

I can’t guarantee motivation will automatically come if you do the thing you’re unmotivated to do.
But, if experience (20 years in this game) has taught me one thing…………
It’s much more likely!
Much love,
Jon ‘Tomorrow I’ll break down what motivation really means and some of that will surprise you. And the day after, I’ll cover another after emotion that you might quite like more of’ Hall
