People sometimes ask how I have written a blog for over 3,000 days in a row.
Because, surely, there’s only so much you can say about the old health and fitness game?
Same with any game I should imagine.
Are there over 3,000 completely separate points you can make about anything?
There is, of course, a number of central things that I talk about in these blogs.
Finding different parallels and segues into them.
Because, let’s face it, you probably know enough already.
Sure, there are finer points and higher return-on-investment activities (as there are in any field).
But I don’t believe that people aren’t making forward progress with their health and fitness because they haven’t had enough new information.
If anything, they’ve had too much new information.
Seemingly ever changing and often conflicting.
What you need for me isn’t more ‘new’.
It’s just reminders.
Little daily nudges.
Not looking to change the way you see things in an instant.
But slowly over time.
Deep down we know that we’ve got enough time to do some exercise and that doing none for weeks on end because “It’s not worth it” doesn’t really make any sense.
We just need reminding of that.
We know that we could be making better food choices than we do the majority of the time.
We just need reminding of that.
We know about using time periods of over consumption to “write off” future time periods and continue to over consume doesn’t make any sense either.
We just need reminding of that (like we need reminding of our four week trial with a Money Back Guarantee at www.myrise.co.uk/apply until we do something with it and change our lives).
New information has its place, sure.
But we need reminders of old information more than we need new information.
And that’s what I’m here for.
Much love,
Jon ‘Tom Grennan’ Hall
