T’other day we got one our periodical replies to our emails that accused us of spam.
“Can you please stop spamming me?” it said.
We sent our usual reply.
“Spam is unsolicited sales information. You went on our website and chose to enter you email address to receive info from us.
The blogs we send out are written to help the reader change their lives and bodies and have very little mention of anything to do with membership with us. And you can’t ‘buy’ anything from the the emails as our programmes are application only.
There’s an unsubscribe link on the bottom of every email we send out, but I’ve clicked it for you”

Spam is people posting in facebook groups with details of their latest class / diet / juice drink, etc.
No helping anyone – just ‘buy my shit’.
I get those bad boys in my feed every few days.
There’s one particularly notorious repeat offender for that in Macc.
Spam is adding people to groups, inviting them to events or tagging them in pictures of something they’ve expressed no interest in.
It’s emailing stuff to someone who hasn’t asked to be emailed.
With no unsubscribe link usually.
Or it’s hidden somewhere hard to find.
Ours is at the bottom of every email we send.
You can go and click it now if you don’t like these emails.
As we’ve said before, we’re here to help.
If some of the people we help want to apply to join us, that’s cool (the link is myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting)
We do have kids / dogs to feed after all.
But we hope you find them useful either way 🙂
Much love,
