It is, of course, Sunday today.

Monday tomorrow.

You don’t need telling this, I’m sure.

Day order basics.

Tomorrow, will of course, be the day that many people “start again”.

They’ve had intentions to lose weight or make some other health or physical changes.

And they feel at some point that they have stopped.

And need to “start again”.

Invariably deciding to “leave it” until after the weekend.

I get it.

I really do.

Both from many years of helping others.

But also from hearing my own thoughts along the same lines.

It seems, on the face of it, to make sense.

What better day to start again than Monday?

But, chances are, that general deferring action to the future hasn’t gone us where we want to get to.

So it’s maybe worth questioning?

Because, ultimately, the future doesn’t exist.

All we ever have is there here and now.

We can make plans in the here and now that will influence our decisions, actions, and behaviours in the future, sure.

For all there is, is that decision in front of us.

And it’s those adding up that leads to results.

Not stopping and starting but slowing down and speeding up a circumstance dictates.

Doing what we can under the circumstances with the decision in front of us.

Knowing it doesn’t need to be perfect.

But sometimes making it better than it could have been.

To create a total average over weeks and months the leads to the results we desire (jump in at www.myrise.co.uk/apply to make sure that happens)

Much love,

Jon ‘Fair of face’ Hall
