We’ve mentioned many times about the difficulties our ninjas face …..
When their friends and family try and derail them.
Make the changes they are making harder.
One we hear a lot is that they’re getting told to “Stop being so boring”.
In an attempt to pressure them into eating or drinking something.
It’s a classic case of ‘Failure being best endured shared’.
If you continue on your path to success then it invalidates their justifications / excuses.
Make them feel bad.
You give in and it ‘proves’ that “It’s hard to eat healthy in our job” / “It costs too much” / “I don’t have time” / Whatever else they might say.
Back to the ‘boring’ bit Jon.
Concentrate!
Now, whether something is ‘boring’ is, obviously a subjective thing.
Only someone’s opinion.
But I would bet my house that the vast majority of the population…..
Would describe the lives our ninjas lead after making changes ……..
Much more interesting, fun and enjoyable……
Than they were before (see www.theacdemygtc.co.uk/briefing-meeting if you w to find out more about being a ‘ninja’).
The stuff you can do when you have more energy and are happier with your body is, to my mind, more fun than eating cake, etc.
The new hobbies…..
The extra activities……
The better sex lives…..
The improved relationships……
The ability to keep up with the kids…….
Having your ‘mojo’ back……
Do they sound boring?
The being unhappy with the way you look……
The ‘feeling a bit shit’ most of the time……
Getting knackered when trying to do stuff you enjoy…..
Do they sound more fun?
You get the point.
If not eating certain foods makes us boring…..
Then that’s fine!
We’re having too much fun to notice 🙂
Much love,
Jon ‘Funhouse’ Hall and Matt ‘It’s actually coming back, you know? Even with The Twins’ Nicholson
