When I first started training people 23 years ago I had pen, paper and Excel.
And a phone that could do calls and texts.
Nowadays, I have countless bits of software that help me do various things.
I have all sorts of systems and defined Standard Operating Procedures in place.
All of these things are there to help maximise the quality of what I deliver whilst minimising how much of the mundane parts of it I have to do.
If I were to do every single part of the business step by step myself, I would have far less time, energy and enthusiasm for the quality that I can bring above and beyond that.
The more time and energy efficient we can make the standard parts of our life, that a monkey could do, the more time we’ll have for everything else.
Our work.
Aspects of our home life.
Maybe parts of our eating and exercise?
A Sunday night food planning Session with click and collect order?
Either the same time workouts every week or a set time you’ll plan the coming week’s exercise?
A system for making sure your workout gear is always on hand when you need it?
A way to get all this kinda stuff done as quickly and easily as possible (somewhere you can just turn up to and, within 45 minutes, have been shown and led through an effective workout is powerful –> www.myrise.co.uk/apply) so you can have more time and energy for the special stuff.
Structure and systems aren’t restrictive.
They’re freeing elsewhere.

Much love,
Jon ‘Minecraft potion’ Hall
