Imagine your mate tells you he’s started going a new way to work.

A scenic route.
It’s a much easier route.
More fun too.
But it takes 4 hours rather than the usual 20 minutes.
Or, maybe, it goes completely in the wrong direction.
And he never gets to work.
What would you say?

We’ve said many times that we’re not up for living like monks.
That we like a drink.
That we don’t just eat chicken and broccoli like most FitPros pretend they do.
That we’re all about sustainable change.
Doing things that you can continue to do for the rest of your life.
Rather than just for 2 weeks.
But…….
These things HAVE to take you in the right direction.
And at a pace you are happy with.
You don’t have to get to your desired body and life as quickly as someone else might.
But, if what you’re doing is going to take you an eternity to get there (losing a pound or two a month)……..
Or is taking you in the wrong direction (you’re gaining weight)………..
Then that route is a little too ‘scenic’, no?
Not saying it’s easy to start taking the more direct route…….
But it’s, hopefully, a little nudge to get you going back in the right direction 🙂
