Just out of interest, I asked AI to scan my (3,500+) blogs and make some suggestions for future blog ideas.

Got to he honest, I didn’t like any of the suggestions.

All very generic and not really “me”.

If anything though, it’s given me a few ideas for kinda the opposite to what it suggested.

Probably for the best as the vast majority of the Fitness Industry sounds very similar but are broke and stressed whilst the population actually gets more overweight and lower in mood and energy.

Anyway, one suggestion was “Quick Fixes vs. Sustainable Habits: Why the Tortoise Always Wins”.

Really doesn’t sound like me, does it?

I’m sure we all know the story of the tortoise and the hare.

Hare races off, has nap, gets beaten by ‘slow and steady’ tortoise.

The thing is though, the tortoise only won because the hare was an idiot.

It was the stopping completely that cost him.

If he’d have finished the race before resting, he’d have won by miles.

If he’s just slowed down to a crawl, but kept going, he’d still gain a significant win.

It’s the pointless stopping that was the issue.

As it often is with our results.

Slowing down and speeding up as circumstance dictates is not only ok, it’s essential.

Slow and steady has it’s place.

Periods of faster forward progress can be motivating and create buy-in and enthusiasm.

Let’s just not “stop” completely when there’s never any real need to?
