You may have noticed that people have to jump through a couple of hoops to become ‘ninjas’ at RISE.
Few reasons for this.
One of them is to make sure the ‘right’ people end up starting the programmes.
Nothing against some people, put if someone isn’t ‘in the right place’ to do the programme properly, no one will benefit from them starting it.
And they may have taken the place of someone who was a good fit for it.
We do still get a few people ‘slip through the net’.
This month, unfortunately, we had two do that.
Both dropped out of the programme without having done a single session.
Looking back, I remember a comment one made to me at the briefing meeting which should have alerted me.
Looking at all our before and after photos, she referred to what we do as ‘magic’.
It seems she was looking for the ‘magic pill’.
And when she realised that the process involved some work, she quit.
Both used the justification that they couldn’t make the session times.
But nothing had changed about the times or their personal time commitments between them agreeing to do the programme and pulling out.
They’d just looked on the members’ site and seen what needed to be done.
As we say every month, struggling is fine.
Needing helping is cool too.
That’s what we’re here for.
And we’ve done everything we can to make it all as simple and easy as possible.
But the process does involve work.
It involves effort in challenging and changing mindsets, self limiting beliefs and habits.
It involves the effort of turning up for and doing the sessions.
It involves the effort of changing the eating, drinking, etc that has led that person to the point they want to change.
It’s not a miracle pill.
And, if that’s what someone is looking for, we’re not the answer for them.
They may as well unsubscribe now (link at the bottom of every email).
If you’re already a ninja and the results have slowed, then there’s something missing.
Something not happening.
If you’re not sure what it is, come and have a chat and we’ll figure it out.
Or, if you know and you’re struggling to do it, we can work on that too 🙂
If you’re not a ninja yet, and you’re fed up of getting fatter every Christmas, the find out more meeting for the ‘FREE 20lbs weight loss challenge’ (with 5lbs Christmas lee way) is tomorrow night.
If you’re looking for a magic pill, this isn’t it.
But if you’re willing to do what needs to be done with the help, direction and support of people who’ve helped hundreds do this (and the other ninjas who’ve done it), then come down tomorrow to see if it’s for you – myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting
Much love,
