Despite there being no quick sand, that I know off, in the Macclesield area (or wherever you live)……..
I bet every one of you knows what to do if you fall in it, don’t you?
Stay still, of course.
Moving makes you sink.
You need to be calm and await help.
Or, if you can, pull yourself out with minimal thrashing about.
It’s about the only problem in life where a lack of action helps you more.
Everywhere else action is key.
Thinking, of course, is useful for planning and coordinating your actions.
But thinking alone will never get you anyway.
We all know this.
But we forget about it a lot.
Particularly with our attempts to get in shape.
We spend too long thinking.
Reading up on the ‘best’ exercise, the latest diet, etc.
And not quite getting round to doing enough to actually get the result we want.
Action is key.
Doing something will get you there quicker than just thinking about it will.
Get started and correct course over time.
Ready – Fire – Aim.
If you’re not currently making progress you’d like (losing weight, getting fitter, healthier and so on)…………
Then just take one action today.
Plan a meal or 21.
Do an online shop for some healthy, nutritious and tasty stuff.

Play sport.
Ask your other half nicely to stop bringing crappy food home and wave it under your nose.
Whatever it is, stop thinking.
