When people are looking to make changes to their weight, health, fitness, energy levels, etc………

There’s usually an obvious place to start.

What we put into our mouths.

Makes sense.

But what we put in our mouths is often a product of what’s already entered our system through our other senses.

Sight, hearing, smell and touch.

And especially the first two.

What we see, read and hear has a huge downstream impact on how we feel.

And how we feel massively affects what we put in out mouths.

When we use eating as a method of (momentarily, at least) changing how we feel (and we all do to an extent)……………

Then adjusting the other inputs into how we feel can be hugely beneficial.

What we see on social media make us feel bad about our lives?

We’re likely to eat less well.

What we read in the news annoy us?

We’re likely to eat less well.

Getting into online arguments with strangers p!ss us off?

We’re likely to eat less well.

Interactions with certain people leave is in a bad mood?

We’re likely to eat less well.

The people we choose to follow or listen to leave us feeling de-energised and demotivated?

We’re likely to eat less well.

Who we talk and listen to tell us that healthy eating or exercise is boring and “ain’t nobody got time for that?

We’re likely to eat less well.

And so on.

If we’re looking to change the inputs to our body that come through our mouth…………

Than starting further ‘upstream’ with the inputs to our minds from elsewhere can make things easier.

Much love,

Jon ‘Everybody get up’ Hall

P.S. Like the sound of an approach that looks to help change how you think and feel rather than just telling you to eat less? That’s what we do. Enter your details at www.myrise.co.uk/apply to take the next step (with a money back guarantee).
