I mentioned yesterday that this blog would be the “last one” from my 1,113 on my ‘Blogs – ideas’ list.

I just spent a slightly concerned few seconds scrolling down to the bottom of that notes section.

“What if it’s a rubbish idea?”

“What if it doesn’t really fit in with our message any more?”

Good news.

It’s alright.

“There are no silver bullets”.

I would put the notes that accompanied the title.

But we’d be done in three lines and 12 words.

So, I’ll expand on that a little.

In our efforts to improve some aspect of our health, fitness, body shape, energy, etc………

It’s tempting to look for a ‘new way’.

Something we haven’t tried before.

And to want the “best way”.

The quickest thing that gives the best results (I’ll cover tomorrow why that’s never a good idea).

We want that “silver bullet”.

The “magic cure”.

But, in reality, that doesn’t exist.

There’s just lots of lead bullets.

Different size ones, sure.

Ones that produce a greater result than others.

Ones that, for whatever reason, work better for us.

But they all will involve some combination of changes to our eating, our exercise and / or our mindset.

There’s no silver bullet.

Just pick the lead one(s) that work best for you (it could be our’ Great in 8′ programme – and ongoing RISE Together Programme after – like it has been for so many. Find out more via www.myrise.co.uk/apply) .

Much love,
