I’m (starting) writing this blog at 6:19am on Monday 2nd August.

It’s Coaching Day.

The first Monday of the month where we do assessments, interpretation, goal setting and coaching with our members.

And they stay for a mini workout.

It’s relatively quiet today with holidays and what not.

And there’s two coaches in (me and Jen).

So I’m writing blogs in the odd gap.

I’ve just been speaking to Dave.

He’s doing his mini workout right now.

He was telling me and Jen how he’s set his alarm for early Sessions this week.

He’d come to a realisation about the evening Sessions he’s always usually aimed to do.

But, perhaps, not made quite as frequently as he’d like.

“There’s always loads of things that can get in the way” he said (ish – I’m paraphrasing, but that was the gist).

You know what it’s like?

Work, family, etc.

Tonnes of things that start to accumulate over the day that can get in the way of a workout.

Or a better food choice.

To come first thing in the morning?

There’s only one thing that can get in the way of that.

Whether you get out of bed or not.

Not always easy, sure.

But it is just one thing.

Just a choice of whether we do it or not.

Now that doesn’t automatically mean we should all train at 6am.

But all choices have an easiest time that they can be made.

A time when there are, perhaps, only or or two reasons to make another choice.

One or two things that can get in the way.

A best time for us to exercise.

A best time for us to make some choices and plans around our eating (meal planning, food shopping, etc).

And there are harder times.

With more reasons not to and more things that can get in the way.

So……….

When is that for us?

Much love,
