💡💡💡

I was reading my youngest a bed time story the other night.

He picked out the “We’re going on a Bear Hunt” book.

I’ll be honest, it’s not my favourite.

Terrible parenting demonstrated in it.

I’m all for doing fun stuff with the kids.

And I’m not risk averse.

But going out with a baby in just a onesie in cold weather, swimming across stream, etc?

Taking your kids searching for a wild bear?

They are terrible parents, it must be said.

But they got one thing right.

They realised that you can’t go over it.

You can’t go under it.

You can’t go round it.

You’ve got to go through it.

Whatever the challenge.

The difficulty.

The frustration.

They are never in the way.

Just on the way.

And there’s only one thing we can do (other than give up and go home)………

We’ve got to go through it!

Much love,
