In yesterday’s blog, I talked about how a member had assumed that I had no injuries and aches and pains.

When the reality is the exact opposite.

I get it though.

There’s zero reason why he would be aware of my pain history.

Because often in life, as the blog title says, we don’t know what we don’t know.

It’s easy to say of our friend that “They can eat whatever they want to and never gain weight”………

When we, at most, maybe see 10% of what they eat in the week.

Or we think that they’re “naturally in great shape” or “have a great metabolism” when we don’t see all the other food choices they make and the hours of exercise that they’re doing.

To think that others have it easier than us or have less to do when we know only a fairly small proportion of what they’ve got going on.

Sometimes it’s powerful to know that we don’t know what we don’t know.

That there’s often more going on than we realise.
