Get on the waiting list?

myrise.co.uk/waiting-list

12 days till we’re back in the club.

We’ll be offering spaces on the programme to new members from tomorrow.

Places will go before the 25th.

So, don’t leave this till after “gyms are open”.

It’ll be too late by then.

Before lockdown, our programme sold out in advance for 63 months in a row and we don’t see this being any different 🙂

——————————

In case you didn’t know, we normally have what we call ‘Coaching Day’ on the first Monday of the month.

The only day of the month where the session format differs from what we normally do.

These sessions involve an InBody Assessment, interpretation of that session with consultation and goal setting with a coach and a mini-workout.

The InBody is fantastic bit of kit.

We have the only one in the whole region that I’m aware of (it’s really expensive).

It, obviously, gives you your weight.

But also;

– Body fat percentage and distribution

– Lean mass levels and distribution

– Visceral (internal) fat levels and hip to waist ratio (massive predictors of long term health)

– Vitamin, protein and water levels

– Accurate to you calorie need calculations

And much more.

It’s a powerful and very useful insight into what’s going on in your body and the progress you’re making.

Last week we were able to offer a version of Coaching Day.

We can’t ‘do exercise’ until a week on Saturday, but we can meet people in a maximum of two households and do the assessment bit.

So we did.

And there were some pretty epic results.

Some had lost a stone or three during lockdown, which is phenonemal.

For others it was a case of only gaining a few pounds while the majority of the population will have gained considerably more – damage limitation under challenging circumstances.

A number of those that had lost a fair amount wanted to share that with the world.

So we did some videos of them covering that progress and popped them on social media.

As always happens, such videos get lots of lovely comments from that persons friends (and other people).

And, as nearly always happens, a particular question gets asked.

“What’s your secret?”

Or some slight variation on that.

By far the most asked question on such posts.

And also the question with what, for most, is the most disappointing answer.

There isn’t a secret.

There isn’t a single thing we do down here that you won’t have heard of.

Sure, we’ll help clear up confusion.

There are finer points and higher return on investment activities, of course.

But you’ll be aware of the basic concepts of everything we do.

It’s been in the public domain for decades.

A YouTube click away for 15 years.

Any FitPro that tries to sell you their services based on some ‘secret’ method or on purely the ‘what to do’ is to be best avoided in our opinion.

What we do do is this;

Take people who “know what I need to do, I just need to do it”………….

And enable them to do it.

Consistently.

Enough to achieve and then maintain their goals (and / or aim for new ones).

Taking ‘can’ to ‘am’ to ‘have’.

When we sit round waiting for ‘the secret’………………

We’ll be waiting for a long time.

So, if you’re a member and it hasn’t been happening recently, let’s use this an opportunity to draw a line under it and re-engage?

Get booked in for sessions, come and do your assessment and we’ll have a chat.

If you’re not a member yet, what are you waiting for.

Get on this list and we’ll let you know tomorrow about the next find out more meeting –> myrise.co.uk/waiting-list.

Much love,
