Have you ever set out to do something, or not do something, then it not happened……..
Yet again…….
And you’ve said to yourself
“When will I learn?”
You know, gone out with the intention of not drinking at all, drank loads and said that to yourself the next morning.
Ate about five times more food than you intended to and thought that afterwards.
The answer is easier to come to then we might think.
We learn the same way we learn any other skill.
By doing it.
Repeatedly.
Until that way of doing it becomes second nature.
We learn to play football better by playing football or at least drilling components of it.
We learn to play darts better by playing darts.
We learn to make better food choices by making better food choices.
We learn to drink less by drinking less.
We learn to exercise regularly by exercising regularly.
We learn to go to bed earlier by going to bed earlier
We learn to drink more water by drinking more water.
With everything we learn we start off doing it less good and practise ourselves better.
We learn by drilling and repeating these new behaviours until they become habits.
We do not learn by intending to do a different behaviour………..
Then doing the old behaviour.
Easier said than done, sure.
But it’s that simple.
Keep doing the thing you want to get better at badly………..
Until you get better at it,
That’s how we learn (if you want proven help in doing that, with a money back guarantee, then here’s where you’ll get it when you benefit the most from it rather than “leaving it till after Christmas” and getting to yet another New Year annoyed with yourself –> www.myrise.co.uk/apply) .
Much love,
Jon ‘will I, will I be famous’ Hall
