Think of the things that you’ve done in your life that you’re proud of.
And things that you’ve done, changed or achieved that had a positive impacts on your lives and the lives of those around you.
In each of these cases, were any of the following situations or emotions absent?
– Discomfort
– Frustration
– Uncertainty
– Worry / concern / fear / anxiety
I’m guessing some or all of the above were present in most if not all of the situations that you’ve thought of.
Whilst we can be tactical in our choices of them, these are not things to be avoided.
They are not barriers to success and fulfilment……..
But prerequisites for it.
Not things to be avoided……..
But things to knowingly lean into at times.
And, when we do fundamentally avoid them………
We create worse and more chronic forms of them.
