It was a bit chilly this morning, wasn’t it?

And the days are definitely getting shorter.

When I left for work at 6 this morning, it was still pitch black.

And wet.

And cold 🙁

It was definitely noticeable that it wasn’t as nice a morning as last week.

It’s time like this when the ‘lie ins’ start from my experience.

Those good intentions of the summer, when people were up and off for a run or to the gym, become much harder to keep up from mid-September onwards.

You see ‘effort’ never works long term.

If something you’re wanting to do is ‘hard work’ it will work for a while.

But, invariably, when extra challenges make it harder, things fall apart a little.

That’s why is so important to build habits and change thought processes.

So it’s not hard work – it’s just something you do.

It’s why our members usage of sessions at our RISE varies very little over the year.

It’s why they find it easier to stick to eating healthily.

Because we’ve designed it all to challenge existing thought processes and habits.

And to form new ones.

So it just becomes something ‘they do’.

We all have things like this in our lives.

Going to work isn’t something most people have to ‘try’ to do.

It’s just what they do and it quickly becomes a habit.

Same with watching favorite TV programmes.

So, if you’re a member with us already, then well done – you’re at least on the way to forming new and lasting habits.

If you’re not already with us, you live near Buxton or Macclesfield and you want to transform your life and body, you might fancy coming to find out more about what we do at our next free briefing meetings in two weeks.

You can apply for a place here.

Much love,

Jon “Mostly Good Habits” Hall

P.S. Got a great article for you tomorrow to help you start changing some of your limiting thought processes 🙂
