People sometimes ask us what our retention levels are like.

I know what they mean.

And it’s pretty good for what we do.

Not perfect, but very happy with it for where most people are at when they start with us (having tried various other things and not felt they can continue with them for various reasons).

But it’s not a word I like to use.

“continue to have (something); keep possession of”

Retention is what conventional gyms do.

Have people continue to pay.

But not necessarily get anything from it.

I prefer “recommitment”.

Not to paying for a membership.

But to their goals.

To what this brings to their lives.

Because we all lose that commitment at times.

Or, it wanes, at least.

Helping people refocus and recommit to the things that are important to them is what we’re all about 🙂

If you’re a member and have become somewhat ‘retained’ let’s talk about turning that to recommitted?

If you’re not a member already and you like the idea of somewhere that does usage and results rather than a model built on people not going and not achieving results (and you like the sound of ‘rest of the year for free’) then here’s how you take the next step –> www.myrise.co.uk/apply).

Much love,

Jon ‘Should be committed’ Hall
