We had a comment on one of our Facebook adverts the other day.
Asking why we don’t put membership price on the ads.
And we’ve had the same question several times over the years.
There’s a really simple answer.
It’s to help people make an informed decision.
Without knowing what we do, it’s impossible to decide if the price is a worthwhile investment.
Imagine if someone told you that they had somewhere you could live for sale.
It’s 10 grand.
No more details than that.
Could be a mansion.
Could be a tent.
Or anything in-between.
You’d want some more details before making a decision, no?
Even if you felt you “couldn’t afford it”……………..
You’d find a way to make it happen if you were getting a £5 million pound mansion for your 10k, wouldn’t you?
If we stick the price on our ads, we’re asking people to make a decision based just on that and a video or picture.
Imagine a Facebook ad for buying a property that just showed a video of one of the rooms and a price.
You’d need more.
All information about what we do is freely available – it’s not that we keep it a secret.
It’s just we like people to come to the monthly find out more meeting to get a good overview of everything and put it in context.
And, as we’ve mentioned, we don’t just want to appeal to anyone.
There’s a great atmosphere and dynamic down here that we’re very protective of.
Put a price and ‘Join now’ button online and we don’t know who we’re getting.
There’s no pressure or salesy stuff at the meeting.
Just find out more and decide if it’s a good fit for you (or a friend).
Worst case scenario, it’s not for you and you’ve wasted 30 out of about of, hopefully, 40+ million minutes of your life.
Best case, it’s for you and you make some huge, lasting changes to massively improve the remaining X million minutes (check myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting if you like the sound of that and if that worst case scenario is worth the risk).
Much love,
Jon ‘Vincent’ Hall and Matt ‘Cut’ Nicholson
