AI and fitness coaching is rapidly changing the landscape of how we approach health and wellness.

Unless you’ve lived under a rock (does anyone actually do this?), you’ll have seen the massive recent growth of AI.

Or “A1” if you’re the Secretary of Education in the US 🤣

I’ve had lots of interesting conversations about it with people recently.

About how they’re using it and about how I’m using it.

It’s going to be a game changer.

What I’ve really noticed is that the thing that most people are using it for is the one thing I never will use it for.

Words.

I see other Fitness Professionals getting it to write their content (generic as it is).

Lots of people getting it to compose their emails and other communications.

Or to compose what they’re being paid to write or say.

I will never do this.

Because my words are a massive part of what I do.

Whether in in-person conversations, these blogs, videos, message exchanges or any other way.

I might use different forms of technology to help me get these words across, sure (why do every step manually for way more effort and, in reality, getting less done).

But the words will always be mine.

All good coaching really is is tactical selection of words to facilitate the person who is receiving them to actually make the changes and achieve the results that they desire (it’s www.myrise.co.uk/apply when you’re ready to accept that “instruction” has only helped get you far and are ready to work with some “coaching”).

Technology can help make the process of getting words out there easier and more efficient………

But that shouldn’t change what the words are.

It shouldn’t choose the words for me.

So, rest assured, anything you ever hear or read from me is from me.
