If there’s one phrase I never like heating people use to describe themselves it is “I am fat”.

Fat is something you have, not something you are.

Everyone has fat around their body (you’d die if you didn’t) – just some people have more or less than others.

Your amount of fat should not define you.

You can be lots of things – funny, caring, patient, compassionate, excitable, stoic, reserved, etc.

You are the one and only ‘you’ – the only person that is the exact combination of all your experiences, believs, opinions and so on.

But you’re not fat.

Just remember that 🙂

Much love,

Jon “Used to have lots of fat, not so much any more” Hall
