I read a great line the other day;
“Those who avoid discomfort, end up in discomfort”
Tis true.
Often the avoiding of short term, moderate discomfort, leads us to greater long term discomfort.
Effects of Not Exercising
You know;
All those missed workouts………..
Those less good food choices…………
Not going through the ‘feeling silly’ stage of learning to meditate and de-stress………
The sedating with alcohol rather than working on our own capacity to handle life’s challenges……….
It all leads to greater discomfort down the road. The effects of not exercising, eating well etc.
The body we don’t like the look and feel of (come along to our no-obligation, informal briefing meeting at RISE in Macclesfield if you want to change that).
That’s more likely to suffer from aches, pains, ill health and so on.
We’re going to have discomfort one way or the other .
Our choice is which type 🙂
