Put your hand up if you think you’re good at exercising?

I assume no one put their hand up?

Either;

A – You feel not good at exercise and / or

B – You’d feel a bit daft putting your hand up in front of Sue from accounts (other colleagues and people are available)

What about being good at healthy eating?

Good at sleeping?

Good at meditation?

I’d wager very few of us, if any (even figuratively) put their hands up for all of these.

There’s some good news though.

You don’t need to be good at them.

You just need to be good (enough) at doing them.

Getting them done.

You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete to book in for and turn up to 3 workouts a week.

You don’t need to be a nutritionist or monk to eat in average calorie deficit or maintenance.

You don’t need to be a Zen like Buddha to choose to spend a few minutes a few times a week practicing pulling yourself back to centre.

You don’t need to be a sloth to get in bed at a certain times.

You’ll probably get better at the thing by doing it, of course.

But we can get good at doing it immediately if we choose to 🙂

Much love,
