No one wants to workout.

Seriously.

People think they do when they come to us.

But, what you really want is results.

A transformed body and / or life.

Workouts are just part of the process of achieving those goals.

If you could get the outcome without working out, would you still workout?

If working out made you fat and unhappy long term (like cake, biscuits, etc do) would you still do them ‘because you like them’?

Now we try and make our training as enjoyable as possible.

And we work hard to make sure our ninjas enjoy their sessions.

But, ultimately, they are a means to an end.

A way to elicit a desired response in the body.

To make it slimmer, healthier, stronger, etc.

And workouts are overrated by many in our industry.

They are an important part of how we get results sure.

But exercising whilst continuing to eat badly and / or not dealing with mindset, stress, etc won’t do a great deal.

It will help with fitness and health I suppose, but not so much with body size and shape if everything else isn’t working in the same direction.

So, if you don’t enjoy working out, that’s cool.

Try and find the form of exercising that you find most tolerable.

(You can find out the form of exercise our ninjas favour at the monthly briefing meeting – myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting).

But don’t beat yourself up about not ‘loving it’ like some seem to.

And get the other bits sorted.

Or at least improved.

And you’ll be laughing 🙂

Much love,
