I’ve mentioned over the last few days that the most important thing that a business has to do is to generate enough revenue to cover costs.

People can have all the best intentions of the world and deeply care about the good work that they’re doing………….

But if doing it doesn’t bring in enough money to cover the costs of the business and allow them to pay their own bills, feed their kids and have a life that they’re happy with………..

They won’t keep doing it.

I fully understand that there a other vaguely similar setups in the local area that charge less than we do.

And that’s cool.

But if they’re charging less and don’t have as many members as they’d like………….

You’ve got ask questions about the value that people perceive that they’re getting.

If something costs more and people are consistently willing to pay for it (we took a year or so to hit our required numbers and have stayed there for approaching a decade straight now), then there’s a reason.

Our costs are significantly higher than for many facilities because of what we have going on outside of just the Sessions.

And, I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t be willing to work the hours the average FitPro works for the income the average FitPro makes – having avoided it for most of the last two decades, I’d go and get a job for my kids’ benefit.

I’ve been in the Fitness Industry for 21 years and am in the Top 6 at the National Fitness Awards this year (for the third time) – I know I’m good enough at what I do to deserve a commensurate income.

Ultimately, if someone wants to go somewhere cheaper, then that’s cool.

Butt, despite what some claim, it’s not “the same but cheaper”.

You get what you pay for.

As you do in most areas of life.

Everything has a cost.

It might be financial.

But it might also be time, energy, missing out on other things and so on.

And it’s up to all of us to decide what costs we are willing to pay.

For the return on investment that they provide.

And, in over two decades, I’ve yet to encounter a single person who has consistently invested time, energy and money into improving their health, fitness, energy levels and mood………

Who has then regreted it.

Not a single one of them ever said “I wish I hadn’t done that”.

And I’ve met countless people who have regreted the opposite.

Looking after ourselves is probably the best investment we can ever make.

It requires expenditure (time, energy and money), sure.

But you get what you pay for.

Many, many times over in this case (it’s www.myrise.co.uk/apply when you’re willing to make that best investment ever, with a Money Back Guarantee).

Much love,
