It’s tempting to leave things till “things are better”.
Till wait one trying to sort our health and fitness out “until we’re a bit less busy”.
Until after a specific event, perhaps – holidays, Christmas, busy period at work, when the kids go back and so on.
To kinda wait till everything is better – when the planets align.
The thing is though, if we wait for the planets to align, we’ll be waiting a long time.
835 years to be exact.
They last lined up (to within 30 degrees) in 561BC.
And it will happen next in in 2854.
And that’s only to within 30 degrees – it’ll never happen that they align perfectly.
Now, we know that no one is literally waiting for the planets to line up.
Hopefully.
But it makes you think, doesn’t it.
Things will probably never get much easier then they are right now.
New challenges will slide it to fill any that go away.
There will never be a time when it’s particularly easy to do.
We’ll be waiting for a long time (or, probably, never actually do it) if we keep putting it off until this theoretically ideal time.
Sure, circumstances will regularly dictate that we have to slow down and speed up.
But we don’t need to stop.
And we don’t need to wait to get going again.
Much love,
Jon ‘Plutoid’ Hall and Matt ‘X’ Nicholson
