Imagine if someone told you that you have three feet.
How would you react?
Would it annoy you?
Would you spend the rest of the day or week thinking over what they’d said?
Bristling every time you thought about it?
Would you tell your friends and family who also had two feet?
And agree between you how ridiculous it was of that person to say that to you?
How unfair?
How they had no idea what it was like for you?
How it was alright for people like them?
Of course not.
You’d probably just ignore it.
Because it clearly 100% untrue.
They would just be wrong.
End of story.

We’ve mentioned before that one of the keys to helping our guys get life changing results……..
Is our willingness to ‘call them out’ on their self limiting beliefs.
To help them realise that the narrative they are telling themselves is holding them back.
To help people gain clarity.
Whereas most FitPros just smile and nod is such situations.
It’s not always pretty.
We’ve annoyed a lot of people over the years, you’d be surprised to hear 😉
Always polite and cordial, like.
But not always what people want to hear.
But the vast majority have come back days, weeks or even years later.
Having come to the realisation that the reason they were so annoyed was……..
There was, at least, a reasonable amount of truth in what we said.
Not that they were wrong necessarily.
But that there was another thought process, belief or habit that could serve them better.
If it annoys you if someone questions your reasons for not exercising……….
Or for not eating a certain way……….
Then chances are that there’s an element of truth in what’s been said.

We know there are people who like to spread rumours about us.
The main one is that we make loads of money for doing very little.
When we make average money for average hours.
Just in an industry where most take home less than minimum wage for the hours they actually do.
So, we don’t get offended by these rumours.
They’re just wrong.

If you don’t exercise regularly or eat well……..
And you’re ok with that……..
Then that’s cool.
As always, your reasons are your reasons.
If someone were to question them and you were to just think they were wrong, then crack on.
If you’d get annoyed, it might be time to question some of those thought process, opinions, etc.
And find ones that will serve you better.
