If you’ve read these blogs for any length of time (and, if you haven’t where have you been?) then you’ll know that many are inspired by conversations with people.

Often similar things being expressed or asked a few times in a row.

The other day I had a few newer members express they weren’t sure if carrying on with the programme was the best thing for them.

“I’m just not getting full value from it” they said.

“That’s fine” I replied.

“No one does”.

“Full value isn’t really a thing. In theory that would be 32 Sessions a week, reading every blog, watching every video, coming to every social and seminar and so on. No one does that”

“It’s just about making sure you’re making better progress than you were or would be on your own”.

Because, despite what our brain tells us, that’s enough.

Our brain might tell us we “should be doing more”.

Or that we’re “not doing enough to get our money’s worth from it”.

Ignore your brain.

Listening to that kind of talk before is what has stopped us getting results in the past.

No one gets full value.

I’ve never got full value from any of the coaching programmes I’ve been part of.

I could argue everyone could reframe what they’re doing as “not getting my money’s worth” if they so chose.

Let’s park those thoughts and just make sure we’re making better progress than we would be (and if someone isn’t making better progress on our programme, then, from my experience, that’s only ever because they’ve completely disengaged and gone all head in the sand – don’t let that be you).

Much love,

P.S. The Eagle Eyed amongst you will have noticed that I said on Friday that I’d cover this on Sunday. Today is, of course, Monday. My bad!
