“The gap between rich and poor keeps growing” [It doesn’t]
www.facebook.com/watch/?v=812056846230856
I was taking a session the other day.
And I noticed that one of our ninjas, Pam, was doing something a bit different to everyone else.
Pam has an assortment of injuries and aches and pains so I assumed it was related to that.
I caught her attention just to make sure she was ok.
“It’s my shoulder” she said.
“I’m just freestyling”.
“That’s fine” I replied.
“It’s better to freestyle than no style”
Which is true.
It’s easy to think that, when we can’t do a theoretically ‘ideal’ version of something, it’s not worth doing it at all.
When we can’t do a full workout, we might as well not bother.
When we can’t eat as well as we might ideally like to, then we should “write off” the day / weekend / week / month / year and “start again” at some point in the future.
But, a ‘next best thing’ is always worth doing.
Whether that’s something we know already and are ok with.
Or, if we’re unsure, something you can ask someone (cough ** us ** cough –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting) about.
But……….
“It’s better to freestyle than no style”
Much love,
