So – I was talking to John, one of our Macc ninjas on Saturday night.

Although, having thought about it, it may have been a conversation with Liam actually.

Either way ‘he’ said something which I thought was awesome.

So I popped it in the notes on my phone.

It’s unlikely I would have remembered it otherwise.

He mentioned about how he’s come to change the way he sees food and diets.

And he doesn’t consider the way he eats now to be ‘a diet’.

Which is awesome.

He just calls it ‘eating right’.

In our inebriated state we then, cleverly, drew a comparison to ‘eating shite’.

Eating right vs. eating shite.

I think that’s a miles better way to think about it.

Not “I’m on a diet”.

Or “I’ve been naughty / good”.

Or “I’m going Paleo / low carb / low fat / ……..”

Term the way you are about to eat or have just eaten as ‘Eating right’ or ‘Eating shite’.

And it’ll probably become a much easier decision.

Much love,

Jon ‘Eating is cheating’ and Matt ‘Thai food lover’ Nicholson

P.S. Or was it even the conversation with Adam? He definitely told me something cool about pheasants and partridges though. I’ll get to that tomorrow.
