Over the last few years, in our industry, I’ve seen a move from many FitPros away from using ‘Before and after pics’.

In many cases I’d suggest that’s because they don’t have any to show.

From our experience, most people are really pleased when they’ve got a great result and, rightly, want to show that off a little.

If one facility (cough ** us ** cough) has hundreds and hundreds of them covering their walls and Facebook page……….

And another facility (cough ** the rest of them around here as far as I can see ** cough) has none………..

That’s probably not just down to the owners not liking them.

We know that a progress picture (as we prefer to call them) doesn’t tell the entire story.

That it’s not just about how we look.

But, as they say, a picture paints a thousand words.

There may be many thousands more about that person and their journey.

But as a super quick to ‘read’ ‘thousand word overview’ of what’s happened………..

These pictures are pretty useful.

And a great visual confirmation for that person.

Often what I notice is the less obvious changes.

The more confident posture.

The smile.

The twinkle back in the eyes (check myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting if you’d like any or all of the above).

So, we get that there’s more to it than a ‘before and after’ pic could ever show………..

That it’s not just about how we look………..

But while we still have success stories coming out of the club………..

Who’ve done something worth celebrating……….

Who are proud of their achievement………….

Then we’ll continue to share them 🙂

Much love,
