So, it was Comic Relief on Friday.

As with every time it’s held, you see comments on t’internet.

Along the lines of “It’s not working. People are still starving in Africa.”

Thing is thought, things like this aren’t a ‘problem to be solved’.

Not something you can do an amount of work on and that’s it – sorted forever!

Same with whatever you’re wanting to do about your life and body.

Our ‘8 week 20lbs weight loss challenge’ is great for bringing people through the door (the find out more meeting is tomorrow night. Check this link if you like the sound of transforming your life and body whilst having fun with like minded –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting).

‘Meeting them where they’re at’.

But it’s always designed to be Step One of a long term change.

Just doing something for eight weeks and stopping is never the answer.

Sure, you can have a period of particular short term focus here and there.

But, in general, the things you’re doing have to become things you can see yourself doing for the rest of your life.

Our bodies aren’t a ‘problem to be solved’.

They are something deserving of our life long care, attention and love 🙂

Much love,

Jon ‘Lenny Henry still looks about 30’ Hall and Matt ‘Actually’ Nicholson
