You heard that song?

“You don’t own me” by Lesley Gore.

“Don’t tell me what to do. Don’t tell me what to say.”

“Don’t say I can’t go with other boys.” 😉

We’ve mentioned before that no one likes being ‘told’ what to do.

It’s one of the (many) reasons why so many approaches don’t work.

Whether they be diets, slimming clubs, gyms, etc.

They’re usually about doing things you don’t really want to do.

Forcing yourself to do a workout you hate.

Restricting yourself from foods you want to eat.

Or from doing things you want to do.

That feeling that you’re been told what you should do.

By well meaning ‘experts’, other halves, friends, family, colleagues, etc.

Despite some people being ‘triggered’ by some of the blogs, videos, podcasts, etc that we put out there………..

And thinking we’re “telling them what to do”………

That’s not actually the way we roll.

You’re a grown adult.

You can do whatever you like.

Tis your life.

But, if you want to change the way your body looks, feels and functions.

How long it’s likely to last.

Then we have a programme that will work wonders for that.

And we’ve got lots of stuff in place to help you change your mindsets about ‘restriction’, ‘dieting’ and so on.

But only if you want to.

Much love,

Jon ‘Only joking about the boys mother’ Hall and Matt ‘Never told what to say’ Nicholson

P.S. If you haven’t tried us yet and like the sound of doing something that isn’t about restriction and that constant slog (and you like the idea of doing it with like minded people in an intimidation free atmosphere) – you might like to book in the our find-out-more meeting here – myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting 🙂
