At Coaching Day this last Monday I had a ninja ask about what to do about the fact that she was always hungry.

The answer was, of course, simple.

“Eat more food”

Going hungry regularly isn’t, from our experience, a tactic that works well for most people long term.

I know I’d struggle with it.

It’s definitely worth questioning portion size.

If we’re having more than we need to keep us going and to stop us going hungry, trimming that difference is an easy win.

But taking it down to “still hungry levels’ isn’t our cup of tea.

Part of the challenge we face with modern foods though is how energy dense they are.

It’s very, very easy to consume way more calories than we need with high sugar ‘treats’.

Not saying they can’t be part of a successful way of eating.

But reducing the volume of high calorie density foods and replacing them with more filling, lower calorie density foods……….

Is an easy way to reduce our calorie consumption……….

Without going hungry.

A bit more veg………

A bit less sugar heavy foods such as cake, biscuits, etc……….

Is a good start 🙂

Much love,
