We’ve mentioned many times before that we’re ‘normal’ people.

If normal is the right word 😉

That we have the same highs and lows as everyone.

The same challenges.

And people are often surprised at this.

Because most FitPros hide behind a mask of ‘professionalism’.

Acting the way they feel FitPros should do.

In public anyway.

Always happy clappy ‘everything is awesome’.

It was my Stag Do this weekend.

And whilst it was great fun, I’m not feeling too great right now.

Yesterday’s hangover combined with a lack of sleep meant I was struggling a bit this morning.

I was lying awake in the middle of the night missing my two sons.

Feeling bad about the fact that they have to alternate between two homes.

Feeling sorry for myself that I am missing out on over half their lives.

So, when my alarm went off at 4.50am this morning, the last thing I wanted to do was to get up.

BUT …………

If there is one thing I’ve learned over the last few years ……

It’s the best thing to do when you don’t feel like doing something …….

Is …….

To do it!

I didn’t feel like having a healthy breakfast at 5am.

But I did.

I didn’t feel like coming to work.

But I did.

I don’t feel like having a workout later.

But I will.

I’m not feeling like doing the volunteering I do on a Monday afternoon.

But I will.

You get the point.

We all have down moments.

We’re all human.

It’s what we do during those moments that make the difference.

Getting going is hard, of course.

But once you are moving, it’s just a case of keeping the momentum going.

Much love,
