The answers are:

One tub of Pringles = 6.8 servings (28g serving, 190g per tube)

A tub of Ben and Jerry’s Cookie Dough Ice Cream – 4.2 servings (100g serving, 425g tub)

A large bottle of Coke – 6 (330ml serving, 2 litre bottle)

I’m sure you know where I’m going with this.

It’s very easy to miss judge what we’re eating (and drinking).

We often get people come to us and tell us what an average week’s food looks like.

And we know that there must be something missing there.

The numbers just don’t add up.

They’re never doing it on purpose.

They’re just not quite fully aware.

Or forget some of the things they’ve consumed.

We don’t expect people to read every label of everything they eat for the rest of their lives.

Or to weigh everything and cross reference with nutritional tables.

That’s no way to live and not maintainable for 99% of the population.

But three days of accurate tracking can be eye opening.

Recording what we eat on an app such as MyFitnessPal can give us a more accurate picture of what’s going on.

And highlight areas to tweak.

Those areas can then, over time, become new habits.

And, therefore, become more maintainable.

But that three days of tracking is great for pointing us in the right direction 🙂

If doing that shows you where you can adjust course, nice one 🙂

If you’re not sure – send us a screen grab over?

Much love,

Jon ‘Inman’ Hall and Matt ‘Wendy Richard’ Nicholson

P.S. One ninja point for those middle names, with the relevance.

P.P.S. The answer to yesterday’s middle names were Terrence Stamp roles – in Superman II and Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
