Don’t worry, I’m not about to start advising on how to cheat on your partner.

Or maybe I should apologise for the disappointment 😉

‘Cheat meals’ is a popular phrase nowadays.

Not a fan of the concept personally.

We’ve mentioned before that the words we use drive our thoughts which drive our actions.

‘Cheating’ suggests we don’t want to be doing what we’re cheating on.

I prefer to think of how I eat and drink as “Looking after myself most of the time. Occasionally not so much”.

Removes a lot of the whole ‘naughty’ and ‘exciting’ mindset.

Anyway, if you are going to eat less well on occasion, there are better ways to do it.

Having a shitty cereal for breakfast so you can have 3 extra minutes in bed seems such a waste of a ‘cheat meal’.

A sandwich and crisps for lunch to save that few minutes of prep time the night before ditto!

Having a creamy curry, large rice, massive naan bread, popadoms, pickle tray, a few sides, a pudding and 10 pints………..

Will do several times the damage of a double none creamy curry and rice with half a dozen spirits and slimline mixers.

But will there be that much difference in how much you enjoy the evening?

If there is, questions need to be raised about the company 😉

You could cause less damage or have a few of the latter ‘cheat meal’ for the same damage.

You get the idea.

If you are going to ‘cheat’ / eat some crap………

There are better ways to do it!

Much love,

P.S. Places are filling up fast for our next find-out-more meeting for the January challenge after the billboard went up yesterday. Check it here. January is always massively over applied for and we don’t have the luxury that gyms do of taking on more people than we can fit in, knowing most won’t attend. Our model is built on attendance and results. Click here to find out more –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting
