I talked yesterday about gaining confidence.
Looked at the route and origin of the word, didn’t I just?
I’m going to do the same again today.
With the thing that people tell me they struggle with the most.
Motivation.
The first bit is pretty obvious.
Motive.
Our reasons for doing something.
We know these.
We know our motives for exercising, eating better, drinking less, etc.
It’s the last bit we might miss.
The “ion” bit.
Words ending in “ion” are all about energy.
Movement.
Action, motion, fusion, errection (of a building cheeky), oration, deletion, creation, decision, addition, subtraction, production, declaration and so on.
Energy and movement.
Action.
None of those words work without it.
And neither does motivation.
It requires action.
It’s why we never create motivation when we’re not doing the thing.
Doing it when we don’t feel like it is always the start.
The motive is already there.
It just needs to meet that energy, action and movement (everyone who’s ever achieved amazing, life changing results with us, usually after years of yo-yoing, has looked back at clicking this link as one of the best decisions and actions they ever took –> www.myrise.co.uk/apply) .
Much love,
Jon ‘tion Man’ Hall
