A big part of what we do is ‘calling’ people on their self limiting beliefs, thought processes, justifications, etc.

 

Helping them question things that they are holding to be true that might not be.

 

And are probably holding them back.

 

When people aren’t doing something, they’ll usually give a reason for that.

 

You could call it an ‘excuse’.

 

So they’re not exercising and or eating / healthily because of time, cost, etc.

 

But, there’s a really easy way to tell if that is valid.

 

Are you still doing a version that fits within those limitations?

 

If your reason for not joining a gym or doing what we do is because you don’t feel you can justify the cost……….

 

The you’d still be doing a cheaper / free version, no?

 

Running.

 

Press ups, squats, planks, etc in front of the TV.

 

One of the millions of free workout videos on YouTube.

 

If the reason was time………

 

You’d still be doing something that fit in with the time you felt you did have, no?

 

5 minutes in front of the TV or while you’re waiting for tea to cook is miles better than none.

 

If the reason for not eating healthily was cost………

 

You’d still be eating as healthily as you can within your budget, no?

 

Fresh veg doesn’t cost much.

 

Bulk buying meats and / or keeping an eye out for reduced items.

 

Not getting take outs, going out for meals, drinks etc.

As always, we wouldn’t dream of telling you what you should and shouldn’t do with your time and money.

 

Tis your life, mon ami!

 

And we know that there’s often a myriad of ‘reasons’.

 

But, if any of the above made you question your reasons………

 

Question the ‘stories’ you’re telling yourself……….

 

Clarify which bits are the concrete truth and which bits aren’t……….

 

Then that’s the first step to writing a new story.

 

As story that will help lead you to where you want to get to.
