I’m sure every single one of us has explained why we haven’t been doing something because “it’s hard”.

Whether that’s out loud to somebody else or in our own heads.

We haven’t been doing three workouts a week because “it’s hard”.

“I’m finding it really hard to lose weight”.

“It’s hard not to snack or drink”.

That kinda thing.

If we think back to the times that we have been doing regular exercise and / or losing weight………

How hard would we have described it at that point?

I’m sure we wouldn’t say it was easy, but we probably weren’t describing it as hard either.

When we’re doing something and achieving results, it often feels easier than we expected.

When we’re losing weight and exercising regularly, it doesn’t feel all that hard does it?

It only feels hard when we’re not doing it.

And that’s a powerful thing to remember.

Counterintuitive as it sounds, it will feel easier when we’re doing it.

We just need to get to that position (it’s www.myrise.co.uk/apply for some surprisingly enjoyable help in getting there).

Much love,

Jon ‘I’ll talk about life in general being hard tomorrow’ Hall
