You may have noticed that the next step for people who want to find out more about what we do is to come to our monthly find-out-more meeting.

And that we don’t just put all the details of what we do on our website like most FitPros do.
There are a number of reasons for this.
Partly because we want to make sure that the people who end up with the (limited) spaces on each programme are a good fit for us.
Rather than just being the first people to sign up online.
We’re not just after anyone with a wallet and a pulse.
But, more importantly, it’s very hard to put down on paper (or a computer screen) what we do.
On paper it can sound very similar to what others in our industry do.
It involves some workouts.
Guidance, support and direction on food (and drink, stress, sleep, etc).
And there are other places nearby who also do workouts and guidance on food.
And are cheaper.

The difference lies in the subtleties.
The little things that don’t really come across in writing.
The things that people not even notice.
The things that add up to a huge difference in success rates.
Still waiting to see a single success story from many of the imitators that have set up similar group based programmes to us in Macclesfield since we opened.
Whilst we have hundreds lining our wall and all over our Facebook page.
One member recently quoted the Duffy song ‘Mercy’ when she said to me  “I don’t know what you do but you do it well” (or words to that effect – that’s how I remembered it).
She’d been to all sorts of similar (on paper at least) places before.
And they’d never worked for her.
“I don’t really know how you’ve done it” she said.
“But you’ve got in my head and I just think very differently now.”

The difference, ultimately, lies in what you actually get for being a member.
It’s not the workouts, the advice, the support, etc.
It’s the results.
The significant changes to body and mind.
The workouts, etc are just one of the tools used to get the results.
Nobody really joins for them, do they?
Imagine if the workouts, support, etc didn’t lead to any results.
You wouldn’t join, would you?
If someone tries to get your to join their setup based on the amount of equipment they have or some exercises you’ve never heard of………
Ask yourself – was the reason the last thing you tried didn’t work for you…….
A shortage of equipment……..
Or not knowing an extra exercise or two?
It’s unlikely.
FitPros that have to market themselves only on their facilities, equipment and training methods……..
Have to do so because the have no results to show.
Because they don’t quite ‘get’ that their job isn’t just to provide facilities, equipment and training methods……..
It’s to get their clients results.
