You remember the game, right?

Someone says “I behave never………..”

Followed by something usually a little embarrassing and you have to then do something (stand up, take a drink, etc) if you’ve done that thing.

I’ve got a few for you.

Stand up if…………

“I have never regretted having that cake / biscuits that my friend pressured me into”

“I have never regretted opening that tub of Ben & Jerry’s”

“I have never regretted those extra couple of drinks at the end of the night / opening that second bottle”

“I have never regretted swinging via the take out on the way home”

And so on.

Now, try these:

“I have never regretted saying no to that cake / biscuits that my friend tried to pressure me into”

“I have never regretted deciding against that tub of Ben & Jerry’s”

“I have never we regretted leaving those last couple of drinks at the end of the night / leaving that second bottle”

“I have never regretted leaving getting the take out and spending a few minutes knocking something up”

Any difference there?

If you’ve regretted the first but never the second…………..

That’s some food for thought, no?

Worth remembering next time?

Doesn’t mean you can never do any off those things, of course.

They can all be part of an overall average that takes you in the right direction.

But if you know there’s a good chance you’ll regret a decision………..

And, from experience, there’s a zero percent chance you’ll regret the opposite decision…………

That’s definitely worth remembering that.
