So, this is my 1,430 blog in a row.

11am for 1,430 consecutive weekdays.

Other than the guy who I learned this off, I don’t know anyone who’s done any more blogs.

Over the years it’s been one of the things people ask me about a lot.

Particularly my other FitPro friends.

“Is it worth it?” they enquire.

“Does it get you business?”

“Yes” is my answer.

“I tried it once” they often reply.

“And it didn’t work”

As in they wrote one blog.

Maybe 5 or 10 at most.

Didn’t get loads of clients off it and gave up on it.

Which it won’t.

I don’t know if I got any clients of my first 5 to 10 blogs.

And each individual one will get either zero or one new client on average (zero more often).

——— If you’ve found these blogs useful and it’s shown that I / we aren’t your standard burpee loving, chicken and broccoli munching FitPros, then you might like to take the next step to find out more about our Group Transformation Programme and our free challenges –> myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting ————

But……….

Over time, they’ve added up.

52% of people who book in for our monthly briefing meeting (myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting) DON’T do so at the point of first entering their email on our site.

Meaning they do it via some method of follow up.

Of which the blog is a major one.

No blog and we potentially would’ve only taken on 48% of the members we have over the last 6+ years.

Which probably means we wouldn’t still be here.

That’s not just the blog that’s done that, of course.

But it’s a big part of it.

Blogging once and giving up on it is a bit like working out once and stopping because you’re not as fit as you’d like to be.

Or making ‘better’ choices at 1 or 2 meals and stopping because you’re not then slim.

These things take time.

Each one has minimal benefit.

But they all add up.

When they become a habit that happens week in week out, the results come over time.

And there’s other benefits.

Like our blogs also help existing members get results, exercise and healthy eating also helps you feel better, live longer and much

more.

You’ve just gotta keep doing it, even when it doesn’t seem to be getting you anywhere.

Much love,

Jon ‘Slog’ Hall and Matt ‘Clog’ Nicholson

P.S. Yesterday’s middle names were ‘Bovver Boots’ and ‘Bovver Boy’.
