By coincidence we’ve had a few longer term members have to leave us this month.

To save money for various reasons.

Rick and Ceri are moving house to Bollington (good luck guys).
Liam and Fliss are saving up for their deposit to their house.
And there’s car troubles, job issues and so on.
These things happen.
But the interesting thing is the big difference about when people leave us compared to a gym, slimming clubs, classes, etc.
All these guys have put it off as long as possible.
Making as many possible cut backs elsewhere.
Their RISE membership being the last thing to be cut, not the first.
And they all seem absolutely gutted to be going.
But the big difference is how they’ve all let us know.
You leave a gym and what do you do?
Cancel you DD and ignore their phone calls usually.
Or maybe pop in and fill in a form with a bored receptionist.
We usually get apologies, believe it or not.
People coming in, emailing or PMing us to say “I’m really sorry, I’m going to have to stop coming for a while”.
And there’s often handshakes, hugs and even tears come the last session.
Which, sad as it is that they are leaving, shows how differently they view being a ninja with us than being a member of a gym.
And, bless them, a lot of people ask if they’d be able to come back.
To which the answer, of course, is yes.
We’d much rather have back someone we know and like.
Someone who’s already been part of the family we have down here.
So, for those of your that are leaving us this month – we’ll miss you.
But we’ll, hopefully, see you back soon.
For those that haven’t tried us out yet (or used to be with us), we’ve got something pretty cool coming up.
In September we’re going to be running our first FREE ’20lbs in 8 weeks’ challenge.
So, if you’ve got 20lbs or more to lose and have been struggling with it, you’ll want to pop down to the find out more orientation session next Tuesday.
You can see more info and book in at
There is a refundable deposit to put off time wasters.
But, if you compete the challenge properly, it’s 100% FREE.
So, check that link out at
Much love,
