Every Tuesday morning, I take Charlie, my 15 month old son to Tumble Tots.

 

We’ll be just finishing up as you get this 🙂

 

We have to go to the one at Wilmslow Leisure Centre as it’s the only time we can make work.

 

Anyone who’s ever been there will know the car park is always full.

 

For the first few weeks we were late in for every lesson.

 

By the time a space came free in the car park or I’d given up and driven round town till I found a space.

 

I’ve started now parking in the Sainsbury’s car park.

 

Always has spaces.

 

Pay with an app so don’t need to make sure I’ve got change.

 

Two minute walk.

 

It actually saves us time adding that two minute walk in.

 

Exercise and Healthy Eating Planning

 

Often the things that seem an inconvenience can be easier.

 

If we plan ahead a little.

 

Sure, it’s usually harder to get something particularly balanced and nutritious if you wait till the last possible second when out and about or at work.

 

The staff canteen or the coffee shop often don’t have the best options.

 

Eating ‘well’ is hard.

 

But, if we make a second portion of something earlier in the week and pop it in some Tupperware?

 

That’s less effort, surely?

Or batch cook a few meals.

 

Effort ahead of time, sure.

 

But less overall effort.

 

Success in anything rarely comes from just working harder.

 

That might be part of it, sure.

 

But working smarter, planning ahead, putting little systems in place, getting more efficient at what we do………….

 

That’s where, through exercise and healthy eating planning combined with a bit of strategically placed hard work, the results come 🙂
