We get it.

Losing weight, getting in shape, etc has a “cost”.

It takes some combination of time, effort and, often, money.

And we get that they are all finite resources.

It can be easy to feel we don’t have enough of them to get us there.

So we stop.

Knowing though that they are finite resources can be massively beneficial.

It’s not a case of needing ‘more’ of them.

Because there is no ‘more’.

We all have 168 hours in the week.

10,080 minutes.

Not a second more, not a second less.

We can, of course, increase our income.

But until we do that, we have a certain amount of money.

We can increase how much ‘effort’ we’re capable of, over time.

But, ultimately, we only have so much.

Stopping looking for ‘more’ can be powerful.

And we, instead, look to redistribute these existing ‘assets’.

Look to tweak how we use our time.

Not by much.

A few little adjustments here and there.

A little bit less of the stuff that, whilst nice, doesn’t really matter.

TV, social media, wasted time, etc.

Not to none of it – these things have their place.

But a slight redistribution of that time to the stuff that really matters.

Looking after ourselves because of how that makes us look and feel and affects what we can do and our future.

Same with effort.

And money.

Little adjustments here and there can mean we get more of what we want (that same looking and feeling better, etc)……….

By making room with a little less of some less important stuff.

Much love,

Jon ‘Centre’ Hall and Matt ‘Channel’ Nicholson

P.S. Check myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting if you’re ready to make some of these redistributions. Because it’s worth it!
