Here’s a powerful mindset shift for you:

“I feel like……….”

Actually means……….

“I don’t know the facts”.

Whenever we catch ourselves saying “I feel like it’s not working / I’ve got too much on / I don’t have time / I should be losing weight / Anything else”……….

We don’t have the data behind that.

The data that supports statements.

Facts.

We’re just guessing really.

We might call it an educated guess.

But it’s a guess none the less.

The data might back that guess up, sure.

But it also might not.

And we’re often reluctant to get that data as we have a sneaking suspicion that it won’t.

And, whatever the case, that ‘data’ leads us to find what can be adjusted to make changes.

We track our food accurately (learn how in the Progress section of the Learn tab on the app if you haven’t already)………

And we find we just weren’t in a calorie deficit……….

Then we have something to work with to make adjustments so that we are.

We fill in a 15 minute log of what we do for a week and find just how much time we’re using less efficiently than we could or spending on none essential stuff………………

Then we have something to work with to make adjustments so that we can make time for the things we previously felt we couldn’t.

Whatever the case, facts trump feelings.

Data over drama.

Whenever we say “I feel……….” we don’t have the all the facts that we could.

Much love,
